Since my father opened the studio in 1977, my family has been providing timeless photography to Grimsby and the Niagara area. My hope is to bring out those unscripted and authentic moments of real life. I want to tell your story of timelessness and tradition. I am honoured to be a part of all the chapters of your life.

Village Studio

since 1977

I started to assist my dad photographing weddings in 1974 (I was just 10) I would carry his camera…load the film and tell him if his flash didn’t fire. Some may call this child labour…I had a great time and made almost $5 for the day!

When my dad retired from teaching (1956-1985) he worked full time in the store and studio. I bought the studio from my parents in 1989 and have been having fun ever since.

In 1977 my parents started Grimsby Camera Shoppe and Village Studio. I have been involved since the start. I went away to Humber College in 1982 for photography and I continued to learn and refine my skills as a photographer.

Part of the community.

I was Grimsby Chamber of Commerce President in 1994 (more then 10 as a board member) then GDIA chairman from 1995 through 2005 and am currently the secretary for the GDIA.

A life long learner, I am always bringing the latest styles and trends to the studio, but maintain the values of honesty and reliability we have built the business on. Over the years, clients have become close friends.
